As the Academic Programs Specialist for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, Cristina Olaru is responsible for leading the academic institutions engagement activities in these regions. In her role, Cristina is working with universities to provide support and information for the development of Project Management curriculum as well as additional educational resources for faculty and students.
Based in the PMI office in Brussels, Cristina is also supporting chapters in Asia Pacific and EMEA in their strategic planning for academic outreach and student engagement.
Cristina is originally from Romania and prior to joining PMI served as the Head of Europe Department at International Study Programs in Prague, Czech Republic, organizing short-term academic programs for business schools throughout the world. Cristina holds a degree in Public Relations and Communication from the National School of Politics and Public Administration, Bucharest Romania, and is fluent in Romanian, English and Spanish.
